Metrocare is the largest provider of mental health services in North Texas. I designed outreach materials to support research initiatives and training programs focused on trauma-informed care and post-incarceration therapy. The goal was to increase community participation by making complex information clear, approachable, and action-oriented.

Flyer Designed for Metrocare ACER by Austin Kiel
The flyers highlighted program benefits, eligibility criteria, and participation steps in a format that was easy to scan and understand. Visual hierarchy, typography, and color were used to guide the reader’s attention toward essential details and calls-to-action, including QR codes for direct access.
By translating research and clinical language into accessible communication, these designs helped Metrocare effectively reach potential participants and build trust with the community.

This project demonstrates how visual communication design can bridge the gap between research and public engagement, making participation in critical mental health programs more approachable.
