The JED Foundation is a nonprofit focused on protecting emotional health and preventing suicide among teens and young adults. I designed campaign materials to raise awareness of youth mental health and drive donations through a dedicated GoFundMe campaign.

JED Foundation Campaign Flyer. Designed by Austin Kiel.
The flyer was created to balance sensitivity with urgency, featuring impactful statistics, clear calls-to-action, and a scannable QR code for quick access. Typography, layout, and imagery were selected to connect with the target audience while maintaining credibility and approachability.
In addition to the flyer, the campaign extended into digital form through a GoFundMe page, ensuring the message reached a wider audience and made supporting the cause simple.
This project demonstrates the role of design in advocacy—transforming sensitive issues into clear, engaging materials that inspire action and support critical mental health resources.
